It's raining Xbox Series X restocks today, and Amazon and Walmart still have them in stock. Amazon, for example, has the Xbox Series X for $499. This restock is for Prime members only, so you must be signed in to your account to purchase. (The earliest it can be delivered is the next day).
This is the second restock we have seen from Amazon this week. On Wednesday, they offered a restock of PS5s for Amazon Prime members.
Xbox Series X consoles have become somewhat more readily available recently. Bundled versions, in particular, tend to remain in stock for days after release. In addition, Microsoft has begun selling refurbished Xbox Series X units.
The Editor's Choice Xbox Series X was initially released on November 10, 2020. While we were unable to find inventory during the first year of its release, inventory now appears to have stabilized.
In our review of the Xbox Series X, we called the current flagship "the Xbox that rules them all." Microsoft's new Xbox wireless controller is a neat evolution of the previous model. Small improvements like textured triggers and an improved D-pad make the familiar controller even better.
We also recommend adding $14.99 per month for access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which provides access to Xbox and PC games, cloud streaming between the three platforms and save data synchronization between the three platforms. This is a great deal and probably the best deal in gaming.
