After a little more than two weeks of waiting, the trailer for Season 3 of one of Apple's biggest shows, "Ted Russo," has arrived, reminding us of a sad situation. Coach Lasso's AFC Richmond avoided relegation in Season 2, but this Apple TV Plus show returns with a steep uphill climb for all.

Set to The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want," the clip begins like a new season. Specifically, Ted (Jason Sudeikis) and Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) walk in, while owner Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) goes to a place she's never seen before and Keely (Juno Temple) is out on a new venture.

Elsewhere in the footage, newly returned Jamie Tart (Phil Dunster) is looking gloomy, and Nate (Nick Hohammed) has finally gotten the window table he wanted to sit at with his parents. But if you watch the trailer, you will ask yourself, "At what cost?"

and you will wonder, "What did I pay for?

Then we see the team practicing, Coach Lasso joking with the press, the newly independent Trent Crim (James Lance) walking in, and Jamie entering the room where Keely and Roy are holding hands. Clearly, the love triangle is not over.

Meanwhile, at West Ham United, Nate is under the eye and hand of Rupert (Anthony Head) and their team seems to be carving up Richmond on the field. [And Sam Obisanya (Tohib Jimoh) says, "I love you guys so much." And, of course, the team responds. And Roy, Coach Baird, and Ted have a moment to see for themselves.

As you may know, "Ted Rathbone" Season 3 marks the end, at least for the main characters' storylines. Jason Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence envision "Ted Russo" as a three-act series, and if so, season three will be the end.

Apple, in particular, would want to continue the AFC Richmond storyline in some way into a "Ted Russow" spin-off show or similar. But - now that I've seen this trailer - it's hard not to think that this is a legitimate conclusion to the story at hand.

Partly, we see it in the moment when Ted is actually with his son, waving from the crowd. Other storylines, such as Nate learning that the success he wanted may not be worth it, the Roy/Keely/Jamie arc, and everything else involving Richmond's quest for the championship, all seem poised for a neat conclusion as well!
