I usually don't quite depend on the brand when it comes to technology. Especially if you have something you want or need, you will gladly jump from one phone maker to another. But no matter what phone I'm using, there's always 1 accessory I can't live without: PopSocket.

Indeed, I always buy cases and screen protectors as well. But it's common sense to keep the damage900 phone safe from damage. PopSocket is not what most people call an essential purchase, but it has proven to be a useful and versatile tool.

For those who don't know, PopSocket is a round grip that sticks to the back of your phone. The idea is that it remains flat and compact when not in use, only "pops out" when you are actively using your phone, slips it between your fingers and it means you don't necessarily have to hold on your phone with an iron grip like that

PopSockets also serves as a simple stand for your phone, and the company makes a whole range of pop-infused products like cell phone cases and purses, mounts and even sleeves for reusable coffee cups. I'm not using any of those things. The main reason is that they are available for a handful of phones as well as because my basic plain10 plain black PopSocket is all doing stand-up jobs alone

I literally mean that because I have a habit of using PopSocket as a phone stand. The round grip also means I can support it against a vertical surface with a more comfortable reading angle, and the pop-compatible mount allows me to quickly swap vertical and horizontal orientations, with little resistance.

But while all these things are as convenient as they can be, the real reason I like PopSocket so much is that it makes my phone more comfortable to use, which is especially true for large-screen phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S23Ultra.

I like to have all the benefits of a big screen at my disposal, but I couldn't imagine using myself without the help of PopSocket. Its simple little pop-out circle slips between my first two fingers and suddenly my phone breaks easily in my hand while still remaining safe I still drop my phone sometimes, but the PopSocket grip means I was able to hold my phone firmly and comfortably during use.

The most important thing is the fact that the grip is resting between my fingers, rather than being pushed into my palm; That means I can actually reach all four corners of the phone with my thumb. Because my hands are big, I still can't do it normally — without a very unstable grip that's as safe as a safe box made of tin foil

It may not work for everyone, perhaps you have a smaller hand than me. But it has some pretty significant drawbacks to having one on the back of your phone as beneficial as I've found PopSocket over the years, especially since you always flick a pop grip below the level and between pairs under your fingers for better access to the top of the screen.

There is a ........... The main thing is that it is in the best position to prevent wireless charging.

Wireless charging is something I've really accepted over the past few months. So most of my pop-wielding life didn't matter. Now that I have a really solid wireless charger worth qi, the presence of PopSocket has proven to be a minor inconvenience — I have some Qi Energy

as well, the presence of that grip could get in the way of a particular stand or car phone mount. It doesn't add a lot of extra thickness to the phone, but even a small bit of extra bulk makes it hard to find a mount that fits comfortably. To the point where it's easy to find something built to accommodate PopSocket existence — whether it was made by PopSocket or someone else.

PopSockets also faces a bunch of wear and torture that the rest of your phone can't bear— hopefully it's kept safe in case. But going out and being exposed means not trusting any of the more expensive PopSockets on the back of my phone. In particular, I'm looking at all the scratches, abrasions and dents that have scratched my current grip.

Thankfully, it's only a plain black option, but the new

PopSockets are not for everyone as it might like an aluminum grip shaped like a Death Star. So the 2 questions on Google "people ask too" are "What is the point of PopSocket" and "Popsocket is still a problem"."Whether you love, hate, or are straight and indifferent, they have become a valuable part of my daily life.

Without PopSocket stuck on the back, I simply can't use my phone the same way. Certainly not a big screen one like my Pixel6Pro, and given that the average size of the best small phones is getting bigger and bigger, it's my option Thankfully I have a little plastic, rubber and glue to save the day.
