Golden Globe Nominations Officially Announced This morning (December 11) the nominations for the 2024 Golden Globe Awards were announced. Despite the changes, voters were still predominantly foreign, and they had some clear favorites.

Since the Globes are for TV shows and movies, it is not just the big or small screen that will be recognized at this awards ceremony. In the television program category, "Succession" was the overwhelming favorite, receiving nine nominations, including in the drama category. In the film category, "Barbie" received nine nominations, followed closely by "Oppenheimer" with eight nominations.

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards ceremony will air on Sunday, January 7 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount Plus.
