There are quite a few movies worth your time this weekend from the best streaming services.
Of course, the pay-per-view video-on-demand blockbuster "Killers of the Flower Moon" will also be released. But even if you decide to wait for Martin Scorsese's epic to come to Apple TV Plus, there are some great options from Netflix, Peacock, and others.
The first of these is "Leave the World Behind," a Netflix film directed by Sam Esmail ("Mr. Robot") and featuring a stellar cast. But there are also classics like "Love Actually. It's a legendary holiday movie with a cast that can compete with these movies, or movies in general. Get ready to start watching. Here are the top movies streaming this weekend.
Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, "To the Flowery Years" is based on the true story of a mysterious murder in Osage country in the 1920s. Leo plays newcomer Ernest Burkhart, whose uncle William King Hale (De Niro) is respected in the local community of the Osage Nation despite being white.
Both actors are excellent in this film, and the story is compelling throughout, despite its 206-minute running time. However, Lily Gladstone steals the show from DiCaprio, De Niro, and director Martin Scorsese. Her performance as Molly Kyle, a member of the Osage tribe and Burkhardt's wife, is excellent. She will definitely be a contender this Oscar season. - MM

"Love Actually" follows the stumbling relationships of people in London in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The film features more famous British actors than the Harry Potter films: Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Keira Knightley, and Martin Freeman.
Directed by Richard Curtis ("Four Weddings and a Funeral," "Bridget Jones's Diary"), the film received little buzz when it was released in 2003 but gained steam in 2013, when Jezebel's delightful was the subject of a brutal takedown. Watch it or hate to watch it, either way, there's sure to be plenty to talk about among you and your friends. - MP

Barney (William H. Macy) is a man with bad luck enough to be hired as a "cooler" at a casino. He leads a life of heartbreak until he meets Natalie (Maria Bello), a prostitute originally hired to cheer him up, and soon develops a real relationship.
Now, suddenly happy, Bernie has the opposite effect on the gambler, much to the displeasure of his boss, Shelley (Alec Baldwin). Macy's hang-dog looks are perfect for the role, and Baldwin, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, gives a fine performance as the old-fashioned mafia casino boss. - MP

"Every Body" is considered one of the best documentaries of the year and is up for an Oscar nomination. It is the story of a historically overlooked intersex population. Starring intersex advocates Sean Cypher Wall, Alicia Ross Weigel, and River Gallo.
"Every Body" not only delves into the struggles of intersex people, but also serves as a very useful educational tool. The film excels at raising awareness about a community that is often overlooked and misunderstood. - MM
