"Slow Horses" is, in my professional opinion, by far the best show on Apple TV Plus. There are several other great TV shows on this streaming service, but I am by no means paying homage to them. Period. Based on the early reviews, I'm not alone in that opinion.

Season 3 of this hit spy thriller was just released this morning (November 29), and after initial reviews by critics, it has a 100% "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That means that literally every critic who has seen Season 3 of "Slow Horse" (at least the first two episodes available on Apple TV Plus) has rated it "worth watching." Critics' ratings are also incredibly high, with an average rating of 8.9 out of 10 for all critics, improving to 9.2 out of 10 for the review platform's top critics.

Now let's dive into what critics are saying about why "Slow Horse" Season 3 is must-see TV.

I haven't seen Season 3 yet, but the first two episodes were just released this morning. After all, I just called "Slow Horse" arguably the best TV show currently on the air.

But some critics have already watched at least part of the third season, and their reviews are full of praise.

Many of these glowing reviews center on the fact that the show is already great and has continued that tone in season three. Rebecca Nicholson of The Guardian says, "As always, 'Slow Horses' is a delight," while Samantha Nelson of IGN says, "'Slow Horses' continues to shine in its third season."

Of course, there is much praise for Gary Oldman's performance. Oldman as Jackson Lamb plays the role he was born to play in Slow Horses, and as good as the show as a whole is, his performance is still the highlight. Both Nelson and critic Martin Carr praised Oldman's performance in their reviews.

However, Oldman's co-star Jack Lowden should not be overlooked. In her review for The Daily Telegraph, Anita Singh praised Loden's portrayal of MI5 agent River Cartwright, saying that Loden "brings energy and plays the role of an action hero, albeit a self-deprecating one."

So if you're watching something tonight or looking for a show to watch this week, "Slow Horse" Season 3 should be at the top of your list. It's that good.
