Yellowstone has gone from one show to an entire world of television images with the debut of this spin-off prequel set in the Wild West. Married country singers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill play James and Margaret Dutton, who establish the Yellowstone Ranch, which is taken over and run by John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner.

But before they can claim their rights in Montana, the Duttons and their daughter Elsa (Isabel May) must go there first. There, they enlist the help of Shea Brennan (Sam Elliott), a cowboy who guides pioneers along dusty and dangerous western routes. He enlists the help of Tilly Mitchell (Arquette), the head of the prison's tailor shop, and becomes romantically involved with both Richard and his accomplice, cop killer David Sweat (Dano). - KW

Opposing them is Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgård), also known as the eerily powerful Darkman.
